InfantSEE: A public health program for infants in the first year of life

DID YOU KNOW:

An infant should receive his or her first eye exam between the ages of 6 and 12 months.

Even if no eye or vision problems are apparent, at about age 6 months, you should take your baby to your doctor of optometry for his or her first thorough eye examination.

Schedule your Infant or Pediatric Eye Exam today!  If your insurance does not cover your infants eye exam we will provide it for FREE (6-12 mo).*

Vision by the numbers:

  • One in four children in the U.S. has an undetected vision problem.
  • 58 % of children do not receive their first eye exam until the age of 3 or older.
  • Almost two-thirds of children under age six have never had an eye exam by an eye doctor.
