John A. Epstein

Meet Dr.John A. Epstein (Jackson Township, NJ)

John A. Epstein, M.D., received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology training at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, where he received extensive training in the medical and surgical treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, corneal and external eye disease, diabetic eye disease, and other conditions affecting the eye and orbit.

Dr. Epstein’s clinical focus includes cataract surgery, LASIK, and glaucoma treatment. He mastered blade-free LASIK techniques before their introduction in the United States and has been named one of America’s “Top Doctors” for multiple years.

As a faculty member at Wills Eye Hospital, Dr. Epstein teaches residents advanced cataract surgery techniques. He also trains medical students and residents from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey.

Outside of work, Dr. Epstein enjoys playing classical and electric guitar, photography, and cars. He especially enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, who share his love of music.
